Abstract

An inline fuse holder is provided that can hold two different types of fuses with a single holder while including features for preventing two fuses from being connected with the inline fuse holder simultaneously. The inline fuse holder can include a pin to prevent the two fuses from being connected with the inline fuse holder simultaneously; when electrically connected with one set of terminals, one of the two fuses can move the pin into a position where the pin prevents the other of the two fuses from electrically connecting with another set of terminals. The fuses themselves can also prevent the two fuses from being connected with the inline fuse holder simultaneously; when electrically connected with one set of terminals, one of the two fuses can physically interfere with the other of the two fuses electrically connecting with another set of terminals.

Dependent claims

An inline fuse holder comprising:

a first set of terminals for electrically connecting with a first fuse;
a second set of terminals for electrically connecting with a second fuse;
and
a pin for preventing the first fuse from electrically connecting with the first set of terminals when the pin is in a first position and for preventing the second fuse from electrically connecting with the second set of terminals when the pin is in a second position.
