The invention provides systems and methods for additive genomic sequencing through repeated moderate-depth sequencing of biological samples collected at predetermined intervals. The system includes components for sample management, sequencing, data storage, computational processing, and output generation. Samples undergo whole-genome sequencing at approximately 10X coverage or whole-exome sequencing at approximately 30X coverage per time point, typically collected weekly over extended periods. Sequencing datasets from each time point are aligned to a reference genome, merged to generate a cumulative dataset with substantially increased coverage depth, and analyzed to identify genomic variants. The invention further provides computer-implemented methods for integrating temporal genomic data through standardized bioinformatics pipelines with batch effect correction. By tracking allele frequencies across different time points, the system generates longitudinal profiles of genomic changes, enabling detection of rare variants, somatic mutations, and significant temporal trends that would remain undetectable in conventional single-timepoint sequencing approaches.
