Abstract
Devices, systems, and methods for selectively accessing access points within a self-storage facility can include directing activation for unlocking of at least one locking mechanism associated with each of the selection of one or more of the identified access points of the self-storage facility. Credentialing can be applied, access lists can be provided, and/or expiration of a predetermined hold times can cause re-activating the locking mechanism for locking.
Claims19
A method for selective access to access points within a self-storage facility, the method comprising:
- responsive to a request for access, identifying access points of the self-storage facility to which the user is authorized for access;
- sending a list of one or more access points of the self-storage facility for selection;
- receiving a selection of one or more of the identified access points of the self-storage facility for unlocking;
- directing activation for unlocking of at least one locking mechanism associated with each of the selection of one or more of the identified access points of the self-storage facility;
- and
- directing activation of the at least one locking mechanism for locking after expiration of a predetermined hold time.
A system for selective access to access points within a self-storage facility, the system comprising:
- at least one processor configured to execute instructions stored on memory to conduct operations including:
- responsive to a request for access, identifying access points of the self-storage facility to which the user is authorized for access;
- sending a list of one or more access points of the self-storage facility for selection;
- receiving a selection of one or more of the identified access points of the self-storage facility for unlocking;
- directing activation for unlocking of at least one locking mechanism associated with each of the selection of one or more of the identified access points of the self-storage facility;
- and
- directing activation of the at least one locking mechanism for locking after expiration of a predetermined hold time.
A system for selective access to access points within a self-storage facility, the system comprising:
- at least one processor configured to execute instructions stored on memory to conduct operations including:
- activating a plurality of locking mechanisms for unlocking responsive to a request for access within the self-storage facility, wherein each of the plurality of locking mechanisms is associated with one or more access points of the self-storage facility;
- and
- direction activation of the one or more locking mechanisms for locking after expiration of a predetermined hold time, wherein the predetermined hold time includes individual predetermined periods of time for each of the plurality of locking mechanisms.
