Abstract
A product processing apparatus includes a control section configured to acquire, from a product master, product information of a product identified by a retrieval operation of the product or a product identified by an image recognition device and output the product information on a display section. The control section activates the image recognition device when a retrieval operation in which the product is not identified is performed.
