Abstract
An embodiment provides a method for obtaining relevant information of a product, the method comprising the steps of: obtaining a captured image of at least one electronic shelf label, captured by an imaging device; identifying, from the captured image, at least one pattern code displayed on the at least one electronic shelf label; identifying, from the captured image, at least one LED included in the at least one electronic shelf label; and on the basis of a combination of the identified at least one pattern code and at least one LED, obtaining relevant information of at least one product, the information being assigned to the at least one electronic shelf label.
Claims15
A method of obtaining product-related information, comprising:
- obtaining a captured image of at least one electronic shelf label captured by an imaging device;
- identifying at least one pattern code displayed on the at least one electronic shelf label from the captured image;
- identifying at least one LED included in the at least one electronic shelf label from the captured image;
- and
- obtaining information related to at least one product assigned to the at least one electronic shelf label based on a combination of the identified at least one pattern code and the at least one LED.
A system for obtaining product-related information, comprising:
- at least one electronic shelf label including an LED;
- an imaging device;
- and
- a computing device including a processor configured to perform a method of obtaining information related to at least one product assigned to the at least one electronic shelf label based on a captured image of the at least one electronic shelf label captured by the imaging device,
- wherein the method of obtaining information related to the product comprises:
- obtaining a captured image of the at least one electronic shelf label captured by the imaging device;
- identifying at least one pattern code displayed on the at least one electronic shelf label from the captured image;
- identifying at least one LED included in the at least one electronic shelf label from the captured image;
- and
- obtaining information related to at least one product assigned to the at least one electronic shelf label based on a combination of the identified at least one pattern code and the at least one LED.
