Abstract
The present disclosure relates to an information processing apparatus, an information processing method, and a program capable of performing better remote work support. An update image acquisition unit acquires an update image to be used for updating 3D data among images obtained by capturing a work target object, an update part specification unit compares the 3D data of the work target object already created with the update image to specify an update part of the 3D data of the work target object, and a 3D data update unit updates a part of the 3D data of the work target object using the update image. The present technology can be applied to, for example, a remote work support system.
Claims14
An information processing apparatus comprising:
- an update image acquisition unit that acquires an update image to be used for updating 3D data among images obtained by capturing a work target object;
- an update part specification unit that compares the 3D data of the work target object already created with the update image to specify an update part of the 3D data of the work target object;
- and
- a 3D data update unit that updates a part of the 3D data of the work target object using the update image.
An information processing method comprising:
- by an information processing apparatus,
- acquiring an update image to be used for updating 3D data among images obtained by capturing a work target object;
- comparing the 3D data of the work target object already created with the update image to specify an update part of the 3D data of the work target object;
- and
- updating a part of the 3D data of the work target object using the update image.
A program for causing
- a computer of an information processing apparatus to execute information processing including:
- acquiring an update image to be used for updating 3D data among images obtained by capturing a work target object;
- comparing the 3D data of the work target object already created with the update image to specify an update part of the 3D data of the work target object;
- and
- updating a part of the 3D data of the work target object using the update image.
