A computer-implemented method and computing system derive physical constants and characteristic scales using Recognition Science and Recognition Physics constructs. A target specification identifying a constant or scale is received and classified. A recognition system representation is defined and a construct family is selected from cost-functional, operator/spectrum, and scale-cascade families. A construct is instantiated using Recognition Science/Recognition Physics quantities and is solved without using a target-specific empirical value of the target constant or scale. A derived value is extracted from the computed solution and a derivation trace is generated that records the construct family, construct definition payload, quantities used, solver settings, and the derived value. A calibration seam may be applied after extraction to map Recognition Science/Recognition Physics native quantities to reporting units while enforcing a no-target-specific-fitting constraint, and optional validation metrics and decision outcomes may be recorded.
