A computer-implemented method for data-exchange-enriched entity name resolution integrates transactional features with large language model-based inference to improve matching accuracy. The system aggregates data exchange event information including routing identifiers, event participants, exchange descriptions, and statistical metrics over defined temporal windows. A large language model infers industry classifications and organizational size attributes from this aggregated evidence. Industry classifications are embedded into a high-dimensional semantic space and projected into a lower-dimensional representation using a hierarchy loss function that preserves taxonomy while reducing dimensionality. The system generates weighted combinations of multiple candidate industry classifications based on their probability scores. A cascading inference strategy selectively engages the language model only when initial confidence and uniqueness scores fall below predefined thresholds. Industry-based similarity scores and fuzzy organizational-size similarity scores are incorporated into a re-ranking framework, enabling improved entity disambiguation and matching accuracy for transaction-derived named entities against reference database entities.
