Abstract

Implementations described here are direct towards methods for generating content based on user prompts by intelligently selecting a model from a pool of available models. The selection process can be based on explicit user selection, analysis of user data (such as occupation, interests, or previously used models), and/or classification of the available models. Once a model is selected, it processes the prompt, potentially supplemented with publicly available or user-provided data, to generate content. The generated content is presented to the user, and further actions can be initiated based on the user's interaction with selectable GUI elements. Additionally, the system can recommend suitable models to the user based on their data and the community's model usage. By processing the user data and taking that into consideration to select the model that best suits a user’s needs it helps to eliminate and reduce the amount of wasted computation resources.

A method comprising:

receiving, from a user, one or more instances of user data;
storing, in response to receiving the one or more instances of user data, one or more of the instances of user data in a database;
subsequent to storing one or more of the instances of the user data in the database:
processing one or more of the instances of the user data;
determining, based on processing on or more of the instances of the user data, one or more models to recommend to the user to utilize in processing one or more subsequent prompts;
causing, based on determining the one or more models to recommend to the user to utilize in processing one or more of the subsequent prompts, one or more selectable graphical user interface (GUI) elements to be rendered at a client device of the user, wherein each of the one or more selectable GUI elements corresponds to a respective model of the one or more models;
determining, based on a user input at the client device, that the user has selected one or more of the graphical user interface elements;
and
causing, based on determining that the user has selected one or more of the graphical user interface elements, one or more of the models to be utilized in processing one or more subsequent prompts.
