Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer programs for alert correlation based on alert causation inference

A computer-implemented method comprising:

• accessing an alert data objects set of an alert management system, wherein each alert data object of the alert data objects set comprises textual data and timestamp data;
• extracting, from each alert data object of the alert data objects set, alert feature dimensions comprising at least a service identifier, a team identifier, deployment description data, and log data;
• generating an initial causal dependence score map for the alert data objects set by applying a semantic similarity model to the alert feature dimensions of the alert data objects set;
• generating a cluster-based timeseries by applying a clustering model to a selected alert data objects subset determined based at least in part on the initial causal dependence score map;
• and
• determining an updated causal dependence score map for the alert data objects set based on the cluster-based timeseries.

A computer program product comprising at least one non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having computer-readable program code portions stored therein, the computer-readable program code portions comprising an executable portion configured to:

• access an alert data objects set of an alert management system, wherein each alert data object of the alert data objects set comprises textual data and timestamp data;
• extract, from each alert data object of the alert data objects set, alert feature dimensions comprising at least a service identifier, a team identifier, deployment description data, and log data;
• generate an initial causal dependence score map for the alert data objects set by applying a semantic similarity model to the alert feature dimensions of the alert data objects set;
• generate a cluster-based timeseries by applying a clustering model to a selected alert data objects subset determined based at least in part on the initial causal dependence score map;
• and
• determine an updated causal dependence score map for the alert data objects set based on the cluster-based timeseries.
