A support method comprising:

• by a computer,
• acquiring an error message output from a system in which a failure has occurred;
• inputting, to a generative model, the error message, a first instruction, a second instruction, and a third instruction, the first instruction being an instruction to predict, from the error message, an impact caused by the failure on a service provided by the system, the second instruction being an instruction to generate, from the error message and a result of the prediction, text explaining the impact on the service caused by the failure, the third instruction being an instruction to change a specialized term contained in the text to a general term;
• acquiring, as output information, information output from the generative model;
• and
• outputting the output information.

A non-transitory recording medium storing thereon a computer program causing a computer to execute:

• acquiring an error message output from a system in which a failure has occurred;
• generating output information by inputting, to a generative model, the error message, a first instruction, a second instruction, and a third instruction, the first instruction being an instruction to predict, from the error message, an impact caused by the failure on a service provided by the system, the second instruction being an instruction to generate, from the error message and a result of the prediction, text explaining the impact on the service caused by the failure, the third instruction being an instruction to change a specialized term contained in the text to a general term;
• and
• outputting the output information.
