Abstract
In one embodiment, a device determines one or more key-value pairs associated with observability data for an online application, and searches the observability data for events corresponding to the one or more key-value pairs. The device also builds a responsive event list with the events corresponding to the one or more key-value pairs within the observability data and sorts the responsive event list by associated timestamps to provide the responsive event list as a sequence of transactional milestones reached by one or more users of the online application.
Claims20
A method, comprising:
- selecting, by a device, one or more key-value pairs associated with observability data for an online application based on a cardinality associated with the one or more key-value pairs, wherein the observability data is obtained from one or more observability agents;
- searching, by the device, the observability data for events corresponding to the one or more key-value pairs;
- building, by the device, a responsive event list with the events corresponding to the one or more key-value pairs within the observability data;
- and
- sorting, by the device, the responsive event list by associated timestamps to provide the responsive event list as a sequence of transactional milestones reached by one or more users of the online application.
A tangible, non-transitory, computer-readable medium storing program instructions that cause a device to execute a process comprising:
- selecting one or more key-value pairs associated with observability data for an online application based on a cardinality associated with the one or more key-value pairs, wherein the observability data is obtained from one or more observability agents;
- searching the observability data for events corresponding to the one or more key-value pairs;
- building a responsive event list with the events corresponding to the one or more key-value pairs within the observability data;
- and
- sorting the responsive event list by associated timestamps to provide the responsive event list as a sequence of transactional milestones reached by one or more users of the online application.
An apparatus, comprising:
- one or more network interfaces to communicate with a network;
- a processor coupled to the one or more network interfaces and configured to execute one or more processes;
- and
- a memory configured to store a process that is executable by the processor, the process, when executed, configured to:
- select one or more key-value pairs associated with observability data for an online application based on a cardinality associated with the one or more key-9 value pairs, wherein the observability data is obtained from one or more observability agents;
- search the observability data for events corresponding to the one or more key-value pairs;
- build a responsive event list with the events corresponding to the one or more key-value pairs within the observability data;
- and
- sort the responsive event list by associated timestamps to provide the responsive event list as a sequence of transactional milestones reached by one or more users of the online application.
