Abstract
One embodiment provides a method, the method including: detecting, using an audio configuration system, a connection of a device having audio capabilities to a computing system; determining, using the audio configuration system and responsive to the detecting, whether at least one of: an audio output and an audio input of the computing system should utilize the audio capabilities of the device; and selecting, based upon the determining, an audio device for at least one of: the audio output and the audio input. A method, the method comprising:
- detecting, using an audio configuration system, a connection of a device having audio capabilities to a computing system;
- determining, using the audio configuration system and responsive to the detecting, whether at least one of:
- an audio output and an audio input of the computing system should utilize the audio capabilities of the device;
- and
- selecting, based upon the determining, an audio device for at least one of:
- the audio output and the audio input.
A system, the system comprising:
- a processor;
- a memory device that stores instructions that, when executed by the processor, causes the system to:
- detect, using an audio configuration system, a connection of a device having audio capabilities to a computing system;
- determine, using the audio configuration system and responsive to the detecting, whether at least one of:
- an audio output and an audio input of the computing system should utilize the audio capabilities of the device;
- and
- select, based upon the determining, an audio device for at least one of:
- the audio output and the audio input.
A product, the product comprising:
- a computer-readable storage device that stores executable code that, when executed by a processor, causes the product to:
- detect, using an audio configuration system, a connection of a device having audio capabilities to a computing system;
- determine, using the audio configuration system and responsive to the detecting, whether at least one of:
- an audio output and an audio input of the computing system should utilize the audio capabilities of the device;
- and
- select, based upon the determining, an audio device for at least one of:
- the audio output and the audio input.
