There is provided a control method of an information processing apparatus that receives a print job from a client terminal. The information processing apparatus includes at least one processor operating to perform the control method. The client terminal includes an Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) class driver and an application program installed based on identification information of the information processing apparatus. The control method includes receiving information regarding the print job from the client terminal, the information including first information indicating that a print instruction is issued using the application program, and adding second information based on the first information to print log information of the print job.
