A control method for a detachable system and the detachable system are provided. The detachable system includes a host device and an assistant device, and the host device and the assistant device are detachable or combinable. In the control method, posture information of the assistant device is detected. State information of the host device and the assistant device is detected, where the state information is one of a detach state and a combined state. A target function among multiple interactive functions between the host device and the assistant device is activated according to the state information or the posture information. Accordingly, functional modes could be switched through intuitive operations, thereby enhancing human-computer interaction experience.
