Abstract
An image processing apparatus includes a main body housing including an opening, a cover, a process unit, a fuser, a first exhaust fan located at an upper position with respect to the fuser, a second exhaust fan located at a lower position with respect to the fuser, and a controller configured to execute a printing operation for forming an image on a sheet. The controller is configured to control the second exhaust fan to drive at a driving speed equal to or higher than a first speed when executing the printing operation in a state where the cover is closed, and control the second exhaust fan to drive at a second speed lower than the first speed when executing the printing operation in a state where the cover is open.
Claims10
An image processing apparatus, comprising:
- a main body housing including an opening;
- a cover configured to open and close the opening;
- a process unit including a photosensitive drum configured to rotate about an axis and a developing device configured to supply a toner to the photosensitive drum, the process unit being configured to form an image with the toner on a sheet;
- a fuser located between the cover and the process unit in a view along an axial direction of the photosensitive drum, the fuser being configured to heat the sheet, on which the image is formed with the toner, to fix the image onto the sheet;
- a first exhaust fan configured to exhaust air in the main body housing, the first exhaust fan being located at an upper position with respect to the fuser in the view along the axial direction;
- a second exhaust fan configured to exhaust air in the main body housing, the second exhaust fan being located at a lower position with respect to the fuser in the view along the axial direction;
- and
- a controller configured to execute a printing operation for forming the image on the sheet, the controller being configured to:
- control the second exhaust fan to drive at a driving speed equal to or higher than a first speed when executing the printing operation in a state where the cover is closed;
- and
- control the second exhaust fan to drive at a second speed lower than the first speed when executing the printing operation in a state where the cover is open.
