Abstract
An apparatus includes a processor configured to acquire a recording medium size which is a size of a recording medium on which printing is to be performed, acquire a document size which is a size of a document which is a region where printing is performed on the recording medium, acquire, based on the recording medium size and the document size, a margin size which is a size of a margin between the recording medium and the document, determine, based on the margin size, a width of a tone patch for correction of a density in the printing, and cause the apparatus to print the tone patch of the determined width on the recording medium.
Claims9
An apparatus comprising:
- a processor configured to:
- acquire a recording medium size which is a size of a recording medium on which printing is to be performed;
- acquire a document size which is a size of a document which is a region where printing is performed on the recording medium;
- acquire, based on the recording medium size and the document size, a margin size which is a size of a margin between the recording medium and the document;
- determine, based on the margin size, a width of a tone patch for correction of a density in the printing;
- and
- cause the apparatus to print the tone patch of the determined width on the recording medium.
An apparatus comprising:
- means for acquiring a recording medium size which is a size of a recording medium on which printing is to be performed;
- means for acquiring a document size which is a size of a document which is a region where printing is performed on the recording medium;
- means for acquiring, based on the recording medium size and the document size, a margin size which is a size of a margin between the recording medium and the document;
- means for determining, based on the margin size, a width of a tone patch for correction of a density in the printing;
- and
- means for causing the apparatus to print the tone patch of the determined width on the recording medium.
