De-risking subsurface fluid prospects

A computing system, comprising:

• one or more processors;
• and
• a memory system comprising one or more non-transitory computer-readable media storing instructions that, when executed by at least one of the one or more processors, cause the computing system to perform operations, the operations comprising:
• receiving seismic data of a subsurface, wherein the seismic data comprises 3D seismic data;
• color processing the seismic data to produce color-processed seismic data;
• interpreting the color-processed seismic data to identify regional geologic features defining a regional geologic framework of the subsurface, wherein the regional geologic features comprise channels, slope features, horizons, faults, or a combination thereof;
• mapping geologic information along the regional geologic features to identify local geologic features within the regional geologic framework;
• and
• generating an output for a fluid prospect based upon the local geologic features within the regional geologic framework, wherein the output comprises one or more of reservoir or seal boundaries, a volume of a fluid reservoir, a porosity of the fluid reservoir, or an indication of de-risking of the fluid prospect.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by one or more processors of a computing system, cause the computing system to perform operations, the operations comprising:

• receiving seismic data of a subsurface, wherein the seismic data comprises 3D seismic data;
• color processing the seismic data to produce color-processed seismic data;
• interpreting the color-processed seismic data to identify regional geologic features defining a regional geologic framework of the subsurface, wherein the regional geologic features comprise channels, slope features, horizons, faults, or a combination thereof;
• mapping geologic information along the regional geologic features to identify local geologic features within the regional geologic framework;
• and
• generating an output for a fluid prospect based upon the local geologic features within the regional geologic framework, wherein the output comprises one or more of reservoir or seal boundaries, a volume of a fluid reservoir, a porosity of the fluid reservoir, or an indication of de-risking of the fluid prospect.
