Abstract
Described is a method for calibration of an optical detection sensor. The method includes successively detecting an optical signal in detection areas of the optical detection sensor, determining respective calibration data for the detection areas, and saving the respective calibration data associated with the detection areas. Also described is an optical sensor system having an optical transmission device and an optical reception device that includes an optical detection sensor.

A method of calibration of an optical detection sensor, the method comprising:
- successively detecting an optical signal in a plurality of detection areas of the optical detection sensor;
- determining respective calibration data for the plurality of detection areas;
- and
- saving the respective calibration data associated with the detection areas.
