Abstract

A method for detecting a change in status in an underwater system, a computer unit and a computer program for carrying out the method, and an underwater system are disclosed. The underwater system includes a plurality of underwater devices, each including at least one actuator and at least one vibration sensor. The method includes (i) receiving a signal of the vibration sensor from at least one of the plurality of underwater devices, (ii) comparing the received signal with a reference signal of the vibration sensor for the at least one underwater device, (iii) determining a deviation between the reference signal and the received signal, and (iv) detecting a change in status in the underwater system as a function of the determined deviation.
