Abstract
A sensor device comprises a casing encasing a semiconductor substrate, a sensing element and an evaluation circuit. The sensing element is configured to provide a measurement signal comprising a plurality of measurement values being dependent on whether the sensing element is influenced by an external event affecting the sensor device. The evaluation circuit is configured to detect the event by evaluating the plurality of measurement values. The evaluation circuit is embedded in the semiconductor substrate.

A sensor device being configured as an optical force sensor, comprising:
- a casing encasing a semiconductor substrate, a sensing element to provide a measurement signal comprising a plurality of measurement values being dependent on whether the sensing element is influenced by an external event affecting the sensor device, and an evaluation circuit being configured to detect the event by evaluating the plurality of measurement values, the evaluation circuit being embedded in the semiconductor substrate.
