Abstract

Provided herein is a system and method for three-dimensional plot visualization, the system including: at least one processor; and a memory communicatively connected to the at least one processor, wherein the memory contains instructions configuring the at least one processor to: receive a spatial trajectory for an autonomous vehicle; receive a speed profile for the autonomous vehicle; generate a three dimensional visualization, wherein generating the three dimensional visualization includes: placing the spatial trajectory within a three-dimensional rendered space; generating a primary plot, wherein generating the primary plot includes: defining a spatial axis along an arc length along the spatial trajectory; defining a temporal axis as a vertical axis; and plotting the speed profile for the autonomous vehicle on the spatial axis and the temporal axis; and displaying the three dimensional visualization to a user through a display device.
