Abstract
Conduit alignment tools and systems. The conduit alignment tool includes an insert body configured to be inserted snugly into a conduit (for example, a pipe), a stop member extending radially outwardly from the cylindrical insert body for engaging an end of the conduit, and a laser configured to project a laser beam aligned with the axis. The conduit alignment tool system may include the alignment tool along with a set of one or more nesting adapter inserts for adjusting the tool to snugly fit within conduits of different sizes.
Claims21
A conduit alignment tool comprising:
- an insert body having a tubular shape and an axis extending from a first end configured to be inserted snugly into a conduit to a second end;
- a stop member extending radially outwardly from the cylindrical insert body for engaging an end of the conduit when the first end is inserted into the conduit;
- and
- a laser configured to project a laser beam away from the second end aligned with the axis.
