A system includes an air conditioning system including: a first unit having compressor and first heat exchanger; a second unit having a second heat exchanger; the air conditioning system configured to circulate a refrigerant between the first unit and the second unit; an energy storage device; power electronics configured to power the compressor from the energy storage device; a controller; a thermal management system including: a pump configured to circulate liquid in a liquid circuit; a heat sink coupled to the liquid circuit and configured to cool the power electronics; a third heat exchanger, the third heat exchanger configured to receive refrigerant from the air conditioning system and the liquid in the liquid circuit; a fourth heat exchanger in thermal communication with the energy storage device and configured to receive liquid in the liquid circuit; a fifth heat exchanger configured to receive liquid in the liquid circuit; and a fan.
