Abstract
A torsional spring includes cantilevered flexures extending radially inward from an outer ring to free ends configured to interface with a central hub. The flexures may be tapered and/or have a serpentine shape that can be optimized based on desired spring stiffness and packaging volume.

A torsional spring comprising a ring and a cantilevered flexure extending radially inward from the ring to a free end, the free end being configured to follow a cam surface of a concentrically rotating hub to bend the flexure.
