The present application relates to: a Yarrowia sp. microorganism with retinoid production ability, in which the activity of the PHO84 protein is increased compared to the endogenous activity thereof; a retinoid production method using same; a method for producing a Yarrowia sp. microorganism with retinoid production ability; and a composition for producing a retinoid.

A Yarrowia sp. microorganism having retinoid-producing ability in which the activity of a PHO84 (high-affinity inorganic phosphate transporter PHO84) protein is increased compared to its endogenous activity.
A method for producing retinoid, comprising culturing a Yarrowia sp. microorganism having retinoid-producing ability in which the activity of a PHO84 protein is increased compared to its endogenous activity, in a medium.
A method for preparing a Yarrowia sp. microorganism having retinoid-producing ability, comprising increasing the activity of a PHO84 protein in the Yarrowia sp. microorganism having retinoid-producing ability.
