Abstract
Provided is an ink jet ink composition that is a water-based ink jet ink composition. The ink jet ink composition contains a moisturizer A having a solubility in water at 20° C. of 850 g/L or more and a melting point of higher than 25° C., an organic solvent A that is a 1,2-alkanediol having a surface tension at 25° C. of 34 mN/m or less, and an acetylene glycol-based surfactant. The content of the organic solvent A is 4% by mass or more with respect to the total mass of the ink composition. The ink composition does not contain a polyol organic solvent having a standard boiling point of higher than 280° C. in an amount of more than 2.5% by mass with respect to the total mass of the ink composition.

An ink jet ink composition that is a water-based ink jet ink composition, the ink jet ink composition comprising:
- a moisturizer A having a solubility in water at 20° C. of 850 g/L or more and a melting point of higher than 25° C.;
- an organic solvent A that is a 1,2-alkanediol having a surface tension at 25° C. of 34 mN/m or less;
- and
- an acetylene glycol-based surfactant, wherein
- a content of the organic solvent A is 4% by mass or more with respect to a total mass of the ink composition, and
- the ink composition does not contain a polyol organic solvent having a standard boiling point of higher than 280° C. in an amount of more than 2.5% by mass with respect to the total mass of the ink composition.
