Abstract
A method for producing a maleimide resin by reacting a tetracarboxylic dianhydride (a1), an amine (a2), and a maleic anhydride (a3), the method including the steps of: adding the amine (a2) to the tetracarboxylic dianhydride (a1) in the presence of an organic solvent to obtain a polyimide resin; and adding the maleic anhydride (a3) to the polyimide resin to obtain the maleimide resin; in which the organic solvent includes at least one of γ-butyrolactone and N-ethyl-2-pyrrolidone, and the amine (a2) includes a dimer diamine and a second amine other than the dimer diamine.

A method for producing a maleimide resin by reacting a tetracarboxylic dianhydride (a1), an amine (a2), and a maleic anhydride (a3), the method comprising the steps of:
- adding the amine (a2) to the tetracarboxylic dianhydride (a1) in the presence of an organic solvent to obtain a polyimide resin;
- and
- adding the maleic anhydride (a3) to the polyimide resin to obtain the maleimide resin;
- wherein the organic solvent includes at least one of γ-butyrolactone and N-ethyl-2-pyrrolidone, and
- the amine (a2) includes a dimer diamine and a second amine other than the dimer diamine.
