Abstract

Disclosed are pre-polymer compounds of Formula 1, including all stereoisomers thereof, wherein: X, M, G, R1, R2, R3, R4, R5 and R6 are as defined in the Summary of the Invention. More particularly, this invention pertains to a pre-polymer compound of Formula 1 including all stereoisomers thereof. This invention also relates to a polymer microcapsule prepared from the compound of Formula 1. This invention includes a formulation comprising the polymer microcapsules consisting of surfactants, solid diluents and liquid diluents. This invention further relates to a process of preparing the microcapsule by interfacial polymerization.

A compound selected from Formula 1, and stereoisomers thereof,

wherein:
X is 2, 3 or 4;
M is a di-, tri- or tetra-valent core moiety;
each G is independently O or NR6;
R1 is hydrogen, C1-C4 alkyl or C3-C6 cycloalkyl;
R2 is hydrogen, C1-C4 alkyl or C3-C6 cycloalkyl;
R3 is hydrogen, C1-C4 alkyl or C3-C6 cycloalkyl;
R4 is hydrogen, C1-C4 alkyl or C3-C6 cycloalkyl;
R5 is hydrogen, C1-C4 alkyl or C3-C6 cycloalkyl;
and
R6 is hydrogen or C1-C4 alkyl.
