Crystalline Form X epigallocatechin-3-gallate.
A method of preparing crystalline Form X epigallocatechin-3-gallate, the method comprising contacting a fluid anti-solvent with a solution comprising the compound of Formula I in a solvent, under conditions sufficient to precipitate said crystalline form of the compound of Formula I.
A method for treating, preventing, slowing the onset of, and/or slowing the progression of a condition or disease for which epigallocatechin-3-gallate is known to be effective in a human patient in need thereof, the method comprising administering an effective amount of Form X epigallocatetchin-3-gallate to said human patient.
A method for reducing inflammation in a human patient in need thereof, comprising administering to said human an effective amount of Form X epigallocatechin-3-gallate.
