Abstract
A method for producing a carbonate having an ethyl group, the method comprising a reaction step of subjecting dimethyl carbonate and ethanol to transesterification reaction in a reactor in the presence of a catalyst containing an alkali metal compound to obtain a reaction composition, a solvent addition step of adding a solvent to the reaction composition, and a distillation step of distilling the reaction composition in a distillation column.

A method for producing a carbonate having an ethyl group, the method comprising:
- a reaction step of subjecting dimethyl carbonate and ethanol to transesterification reaction in a reactor in the presence of a catalyst containing an alkali metal compound to obtain a reaction composition;
- a solvent addition step of adding a solvent to the reaction composition;
- and
- a distillation step of distilling the reaction composition in a distillation column.
A method for producing a carbonate having an ethyl group, the method comprising:
- a reaction step of subjecting dimethyl carbonate and ethanol to transesterification reaction in a reactor in the presence of a catalyst containing an alkali metal compound to obtain a reaction composition;
- and
- a distillation step of distilling the reaction composition in a distillation column,
- wherein the concentration of insoluble matter having a size of 10 μm or more in the reaction composition immediately before introduction into the distillation column in the distillation step is 50 ppm by mass or less.
An apparatus for producing a carbonate having an ethyl group, the apparatus comprising:
- a reaction apparatus for subjecting dimethyl carbonate and ethanol to transesterification reaction in a reactor in the presence of a catalyst containing an alkali metal compound to obtain a reaction composition;
- a solvent addition unit for adding a solvent to the reaction composition;
- and
- a distillation apparatus for distilling the reaction composition.
