Conveyor belts having a top cover on the carrying side and the bottom cover on the pulley side, where the top cover on the carrying side has a chevron profiling, and where the top cover and the chevron profiling on the carrying side are formed from a thermoplastic elastomer. Also provided are methods for the production of corresponding conveyor belts, the use of respective conveyor belts for conveying of bulk solid materials, wherein the conveyor belt is used at least partially at an angle of inclination of more than 20° and where the bulk solid material is preferably material in hard rock mining or heavy industrial applications, and conveyor belt systems which include respective conveyor belts.
A Conveyor belt, with a top cover on the carrying side and a bottom cover on the pulley side, wherein the layers comprise an elastomeric material and the conveyor belt further comprises a belt body having one or more embedded reinforcement members, wherein the conveyor belt on its top cover has a profiling, which is formed substantially perpendicular to the carrying-side top cover, wherein the profiling is a chevron profiling that has diagonal elements that extend both in the longitudinal direction and in transverse direction of the conveyor belt and which together form a V-shape in pairs, wherein the top cover on the carrying side and the chevron profiling is formed from a thermoplastic elastomer.
