A computer-implemented method dynamically controls airflow in an air lubrication system of a marine vessel. The method obtains vessel speed data and determines whether the speed is within a range suitable for air lubrication. When air lubrication is appropriate, a controller accesses a computational fluid dynamics efficiency profile to identify selected air injector ports and calculate target airflow values. The controller modulates compressor output and valve openings to stabilize airflow beneath the hull. Real-time sensor data, including vessel motion and environmental data, may be used to predict near-future vessel conditions and adjust airflow distributions. The system may further update efficiency profiles using recorded operational data, fuel usage, power data, and air lubrication output to improve fuel savings and emission reductions over time.
