Abstract
A vehicle rear section structure including a storage battery case configured for housing plural storage battery cells, a retaining member arranged at a vehicle front-rear direction rear side of the storage battery case, a smoke discharge vent that is provided at the retaining member and that discharges smoke generated from the storage battery cells to outside of the storage battery case, and a connector for connecting a wire thereto, the connector being retained by the retaining member such that an extension direction of the wire is inclined with respect to a vehicle front-rear direction axis in a direction away from the smoke discharge vent on progression toward the vehicle rear side.

A vehicle rear section structure comprising:
- a storage battery case configured for housing a plurality of storage battery cells;
- a retaining member arranged at a vehicle front-rear direction rear side of the storage battery case;
- a smoke discharge vent that is provided at the retaining member and that discharges smoke generated from the storage battery cells to outside of the storage battery case;
- and
- a connector for connecting a wire thereto, the connector being retained by the retaining member such that an extension direction of the wire is inclined with respect to a vehicle front-rear direction axis in a direction away from the smoke discharge vent on progression toward the vehicle rear side.
