Abstract
A vehicle body lower structure includes a side sill, a battery case configured to accommodate a battery module and directly or indirectly coupled to the side sill, and a hollow impact absorbing structure. A lower surface of the battery case is located below a lower end of the side sill. The impact absorbing structure is disposed at a position not overlapping the battery module when viewed from above. A lower end of the impact absorbing structure is located below the lower surface of the battery case.
Claims12
A vehicle body lower structure comprising:
- a side sill;
- a battery case configured to accommodate a battery module and directly or indirectly coupled to the side sill;
- and
- a hollow impact absorbing structure, wherein
- a lower surface of the battery case is located below a lower end of the side sill,
- the impact absorbing structure is disposed at a position not overlapping the battery module when viewed from above,
- a lower end of the impact absorbing structure is located below the lower surface of the battery case,
- at least a part of the impact absorbing structure is disposed below the side sill to overlap the side sill when viewed from above,
- the impact absorbing structure is directly or indirectly coupled to the side sill, and
- the impact absorbing structure is a structure that reduces input of impact from below.
