Abstract

Embodiments of the disclosure relate to a power converter that includes a computing device, a communication device, and a connection point with output points configured to output electricity. The computing device operatively selects between an idle state, transmitting electricity through the output points in a first waveform, or transmitting electricity through the output points in a second waveform that is different from the first waveform. The power converter receives electricity in the idle state through the connection point. The computing device causes the power converter to transmit electricity in the first waveform if the communication device receives a unique identifier code from a second power converter. The computing device is otherwise configured to cause the power converter to transmit electricity in the second waveform.

Dependent claims

A power converter comprising:

a computing device;
a communication device;
and
at least one connection point comprising one or more output points configured to output electricity;
wherein the computing device is configured to operatively select between an idle state, transmitting electricity through the one or more output points in a first waveform, or transmitting electricity through the one or more output points in a second waveform, the second waveform being different from the first waveform;
wherein the power converter is configured to receive electricity in the idle state through the at least one connection point;
wherein the computing device is configured to cause the power converter to transmit electricity in the first waveform if the communication device receives a unique identifier code from a second power converter;
and
wherein the computing device is otherwise configured to cause the power converter to transmit electricity in the second waveform.
