Abstract

A vehicle, in particular a motor vehicle, is disclosed including at least one steerable vehicle axle, which provides an increased wheel steering angle setting range, in particular with a maximum wheel steering angle of more than 40°, including a steering system that is operatively connected to the steerable vehicle axle for providing steering functionality, including a braking system for providing a braking functionality, and including an electrical and/or electronic brake function unit. The brake function unit has at least one brake control function which is intended to at least partially restrict the braking functionality during a steering operation in which a vehicle speed of the vehicle is below a limit speed. The brake function unit has at least one activation function which is intended to activate the brake control function only when a wheel steering angle limit is exceeded.
