Abstract
A vehicle authentication system includes: a detection section that detects an object approaching a mobile body and, after detecting the object, detects a target person approaching the mobile body; and an authentication section that performs authentication of the target person as a registered user, in which after detecting the object by an object detection sensor provided in the mobile body, the detection section is capable of executing detection of the target person by a camera provided in the mobile body and detection of the target person by the object detection sensor.

A vehicle authentication system comprising:
- a detection section that detects an object approaching a mobile body and, after detecting the object, detects a target person approaching the mobile body;
- and
- an authentication section that performs authentication of the target person as a registered user,
- wherein after detecting the object by an object detection sensor provided in the mobile body, the detection section is capable of executing detection of the target person by a camera provided in the mobile body and detection of the target person by the object detection sensor.
