Entry system and door control method

An entry system comprising:

• an acquisition section that acquires, assuming a person present in a surrounding of a vehicle as a target person, a target person image that is an image of the target person;
• an authentication section that performs authentication of the target person as a registered user having a usage right of the vehicle, based on the target person image;
• and
• a door control section that causes a door control device to execute automatic door unlocking and automatic door opening operation of a vehicle door under a condition in which the authentication succeeds, the door control device being configured to control locking/unlocking and opening/closing operation of the vehicle door of the vehicle,
• wherein when a predetermined transitioning condition is satisfied, the door control section prohibits predetermined operation related to the automatic door opening operation during a temporary suspension period until a predetermined cancelling condition is satisfied, regardless of a result of the authentication.
