Vehicle system and vehicle control method

A vehicle control method executed by a computer, the method comprising:

• a person detection step of a person detection unit detecting a person based on a captured image composed of a moving image captured outside a vehicle;
• an exit detection step of an exit detection unit detecting whether the detected person has exited from a target vehicle;
• and
• a vehicle control step of a vehicle control unit performing vehicle control at a time of exiting when the detected person is detected as a person having exited from the target vehicle,
• wherein the exit detection step performs, based on the captured image, a first detection processing of detecting whether a first condition is satisfied, the first condition indicating that the detected person is present near a target door of the target vehicle, and a second detection processing of detecting whether a second condition is satisfied, the second condition indicating that the detected person is moving away from the target vehicle, and detects the detected person as a person having exited from the target vehicle when the first condition and the second condition are satisfied.
