Abstract
An airbag device is disposed in front of an occupant seated on a seat, and includes an airbag that is folded and is stored in a storage portion. The airbag is configured to inflate so as to cover a front portion from knees to an upper body of the occupant, and includes an upper body protection portion configured to protect the upper body and a knee protection portion configured to protect the knees. Each of the upper body protection portion and the knee protection portion is formed in a shape of a separate bag, is connected to a separate inflator, is configured to allow an inflation gas to flow into the upper body protection portion or the knee protection portion, and is folded and is stored in the storage portion.
Claims7
An airbag device disposed in front of an occupant seated on a seat, the airbag device comprising:
- an airbag that is folded and is stored in a storage portion and inflates so as to cover a front portion from knees to an upper body of the occupant, wherein
- the airbag includes an upper body protection portion configured to protect the upper body and a knee protection portion configured to protect the knees, and
- each of the upper body protection portion and the knee protection portion is formed in a shape of a separate bag, is connected to a separate inflator, is configured to allow an inflation gas to flow into the upper body protection portion or the knee protection portion, and is folded and is stored in the storage portion.
