Abstract
The invention relates to a vehicle having a restraint device for securing a person situated on a lying device of the vehicle, wherein the restraint device has at least one upper-body airbag arranged in an upper-body portion of the lying device. Especially, at least one upper-body airbag is arranged in each of the two longitudinal side regions of the lying device, wherein, in a release state, at least part of each upper-body airbag extends, starting from the side regions, transversely over the lying surface of the upper-body portion, and these upper-body airbags bear with at least some portion thereof against one another.

A vehicle having a restraint device for securing a person situated on a lying device of the vehicle, the restraint device having at least one upper-body airbag arranged in an upper-body portion of the lying device, characterized-in-that at least one upper-body airbag is arranged in each of the two longitudinal side regions of the lying device, at least part of each upper-body airbag extending, starting from the side regions, transversely over the lying surface of the upper-body portion in a release state, and these upper-body airbags bearing with at least some portion thereof against one another.
