Abstract
A refuse vehicle includes a first electric motor powered by a battery, a first hydraulic pump driven by the first electric motor, a first actuator powered by the first hydraulic pump, a second electric motor powered by the battery, a second hydraulic pump driven by the second electric motor, a second actuator powered by the second hydraulic pump, a first manifold controlling a flow of hydraulic fluid between the first hydraulic pump and the first actuator, and a second manifold controlling a flow of hydraulic fluid between the second hydraulic pump and the second actuator.

A refuse vehicle comprising:
- a first electric motor powered by a battery;
- a first hydraulic pump driven by the first electric motor;
- a first actuator powered by the first hydraulic pump;
- a second electric motor powered by the battery;
- a second hydraulic pump driven by the second electric motor;
- a second actuator powered by the second hydraulic pump;
- a first manifold controlling a flow of hydraulic fluid between the first hydraulic pump and the first actuator;
- and
- a second manifold controlling a flow of hydraulic fluid between the second hydraulic pump and the second actuator.
A refuse vehicle comprising:
- a frame;
- a cab coupled to the frame;
- a body assembly coupled to the frame and defining a refuse compartment configured to store refuse material therein, the body assembly positioned behind the cab, the body assembly further defining a hydraulic system cavity;
- a first electric motor powered by a battery, the first electric motor positioned within the hydraulic system cavity;
- a first hydraulic pump driven by the first electric motor, the first hydraulic pump positioned within the hydraulic system cavity;
- a first actuator powered by the first hydraulic pump;
- a second electric motor powered by the battery, the second electric motor positioned within the hydraulic system cavity;
- a second hydraulic pump driven by the second electric motor, the second hydraulic pump positioned within the hydraulic system cavity;
- and
- a second actuator powered by the second hydraulic pump.

- a first actuator powered by the first hydraulic pump;
- a first manifold controlling a flow of hydraulic fluid between the first hydraulic pump and the first actuator, the first manifold positioned outside of the hydraulic system cavity;
- a second hydraulic pump positioned within the hydraulic system cavity;
- a second actuator powered by the second hydraulic pump;
- and
- a second manifold controlling a flow of hydraulic fluid between the second hydraulic pump and the second actuator, the second manifold positioned outside of the hydraulic system cavity.
