Abstract
Apparatus for mounting and protecting photos or documents positioned on the face of a motor vehicle sun visor which comprises a sleeve having opposed edges spaced apart by a dimension sufficient to allow passage of the free end of the visor into the sleeve with this the sleeve and snug relationship with the visor.
Claims20
Apparatus for cooperation with an associated motor vehicle sun visor having front and back planar faces, elongated top and bottom edges, the top edge having an outboard pivot mounting and an inboard mounting bar which comprises:
- 1st and 2nd planar mounting sheets dimensioned and configured for respectively covering the front and back planar faces of the associated motor vehicle sun visor, each planar mounting sheet having an inside side and an outside side, said inside sides when installed on an associated motor vehicle visor being closer to a side of the associated motor vehicle visor than said outside sides;
- a transparent sleeve dimensioned and configured for placement over tangible images disposed on said outside side of said 1st and 2nd mounting sheets when said 1st and 2nd mounting sheets are disposed respectively on front and back sides of the associated motor vehicle sun visor;
- said sleeve being elongated and having front and back sides, each side having top and bottom edges as well as inboard and outboard edges, said top edges being fixed together, said bottom edges being fixed together and said inboard edges being fixed together
- said sleeve including an opening to accommodate a motor vehicle visor mounting bar connections of the motor vehicle;
- said sleeve further including at least one hook tab and at least one eye tabs cooperating to secure said outboard ends to the associated motor vehicle sun visor.
Apparatus for mounting and protecting photos or documents positioned on the face of an associated sun visor which comprises:
- 1st and 2nd planar mounting sheets dimensioned and configured for respectively covering the front and back planar faces of the associated motor vehicle sun visor;
- an elongated transparent sleeve having first and second sides and a first open axial extremity dimensioned and configured to allow passage of the free end of a vehicle's original equipment sun visor into the sleeve with the first and second sides in snug relationship with the visor and including at least one ear engaging both sides of the apparatus proximate to said open axial extremity to secure said sleeve to an associated sun visor.
A method for displaying visual images on a motor vehicle sun visor which comprises:
- providing a planar mounting surface dimensioned to cover an entire side of the associated motor vehicle sun visor;
- attaching a plurality of tangible visual images on the planar mounting surface;
- positioning the planar mounting surface on a side of a motor vehicle sun visor;
- securing the plurality of visual images and the planar mounting surface to a side of a motor vehicle sun visor with a transparent covering dimensioned to engage opposed sides of said motor vehicle sun visor as well as the planar mounting surface and the plurality of tangible visual images.
Apparatus for cooperation with an associated motor vehicle sun visor having front and back planar faces, elongated top and bottom edges, the top edge having an outboard pivot mounting and an inboard mounting bar which comprises:
- at least a 1st planar mounting sheet dimensioned and configured for covering one of the front and back planar faces of the associated motor vehicle sun visor, each planar mounting sheet having an inside side and an outside side, said inside sides when installed on an associated motor vehicle visor being closer to a side of an associated motor vehicle visor than said outside sides;
- a transparent sleeve dimensioned and configured for placement over tangible images disposed on at least one of said outside sides of each mounting sheet disposed on at least one of the front and back sides of the associated motor vehicle sun visor;
- said sleeve being elongated and having front and back sides, each side having top and bottom edges as well as inboard and outboard edges, said top edges being fixed together, said bottom edges being fixed together and said inboard edges being fixed together;
- said sleeve including an opening to accommodate a motor vehicle visor mounting bar connections of the motor vehicle;
- said sleeve further including at least one hook tab and at least one eye tab cooperating to secure said outboard edges to the associated motor vehicle sun visor.
Apparatus for mounting and protecting photos or documents positioned on the face of an associated sun visor which comprises:
- 1st and 2nd planar mounting sheets dimensioned and configured for respectively covering the front and back planar faces of the associated motor vehicle sun visor;
- an elongated transparent sleeve having first and second sides and a first open axial extremity dimensioned and configured to allow passage of the free end of a vehicle's original equipment sun visor into the sleeve with the first and second sides in snug relationship with the visor and including at least one ear engaging both sides of the apparatus proximate to said open axial extremity to secure said sleeve to an associated sun visor.
