Abstract
To eliminate or reduce the potential risk of falling of a closing part that closes an opening of a housing cover. A door mirror for a vehicle includes a lower cover that includes a shell portion having an outer surface and an inner surface and has at least one opening passing through the shell portion, and a closing part that closes the at least one opening from an inside of the lower cover.
Claims19
A door mirror for a vehicle, the door mirror comprising:
- a housing cover that includes a shell portion having an outer surface and an inner surface and has at least one opening passing through the shell portion;
- and
- a closing part that closes the at least one opening from an inside of the housing cover.
A method of manufacturing a door mirror, the method comprising
- attaching a closing part to a housing cover to close, from an inside of the housing cover, at least one opening formed on the housing cover.
A method of manufacturing a door mirror for a vehicle, the method comprising:
- continuously forming a housing cover that includes at least one opening, a camera attaching portion, and a closing part attaching portion and in which the camera attaching portion and the closing part attaching portion are positioned around the at least one opening;
- attaching a camera, directly or via a bracket, to the camera attaching portion of a first housing cover obtained by the continuous forming of a housing cover;
- and
- attaching a closing part, from an inside of a second housing cover obtained by the continuous forming of a housing cover, to the closing part attaching portion of the second housing cover.
