Articles with raised portions and recessed portions

A floormat comprising:

• sheets, wherein all of the sheets are of a same material;
• a plurality of raised-portions, wherein exterior-most surfaces of the plurality of raised-portions are configured to come into removable direct physical contact with footwear or a foot when the footwear or the foot are removably placed on a top of the floormat;
• and
• a plurality of recessed-portions, wherein each recessed-portion, selected from the plurality of recessed-portions, is directly adjacent to at least one raised-portion, selected from the plurality of raised-portions;
• wherein each recessed-portion, selected from the plurality of recessed-portions, is recessed with respect to the exterior-most surfaces of the plurality of raised-portions;
• wherein each raised-portion, selected from the plurality of raised-portions, is raised with respect to bottoms of the plurality of recessed-portions;
• wherein upper regions of the plurality of raised-portions are a first-color;
• wherein at least some of the bottoms of the plurality of recessed-portions are a second-color, wherein the at least some of the bottoms of the plurality of recessed-portions are exteriorly visible from the top of the floormat;
• wherein the plurality of raised-portions and the plurality of recessed-portions are constructed from at least two of the sheets.
