Abstract
A seat plate adjustment system for a child safety seat, includes a seat plate and a base, the seat plate being movable between a first position and a second position in a first direction relative to the base. The seat plate includes a first through hole configured to be thread by a crotch strap. The base comprises a second through hole configured to be threaded by the crotch strap. When the seat plate is at a first position, a length of the crotch strap passing through the first through hole is a first length; and when the seat plate is at a second position, a length of the crotch strap passing through the first through hole is a second length, and the first length being less than the second length.

A seat plate adjustment system for a child safety seat, comprising a seat plate and a base, the seat plate being movable between a first position and a second position in a first direction relative to the base,
- the seat plate comprising:
- a first through hole configured to be thread by a crotch strap,
- wherein the base comprises a second through hole configured to be threaded by the crotch strap,
- wherein when the seat plate is at the first position, a length of the crotch strap passing through the first through hole is a first length;
- when the seat plate is at the second position, a length of the crotch strap passing through the first through hole is a second length, and the first length being less than the second length.

A child safety seat, comprising a base;
- a seat plate being movable between a first position and a second position in a first direction relative to the base;
- and
- an adjustment portion being operable to lock the seat plate in the first position or the second position,
- wherein the seat plate comprises a first through hole configured to be thread by a crotch strap, and the base comprises a second through hole configured to be threaded by the crotch strap,
- when the seat plate is in the first position, the length of the crotch strap through the first through hole has a first length;
- and when the seat plate is in the second position, the length of the crotch strap through the first through hole has a second length;
- the first length is less than the second length.
