Abstract

A vehicle interior component control system includes: a vehicle interior component switchable among a driving-state, a boarding/alighting-state, and a standby-state; a controller configured to control the vehicle interior component; and a door sensor configured to detect opening and closing of a door. When the vehicle interior component is in the boarding/alighting-state and it is detected that a door main body has been closed, the controller switches the vehicle interior component to the standby-state. When the vehicle interior component is in the standby-state and it is detected that the door main body has been opened, the controller switches the vehicle interior component to the boarding/alighting-state.

Dependent claims

A vehicle interior component control system, comprising:

a vehicle interior component being switchable among a driving-state, a boarding/alighting-state, and a standby-state;
a controller configured to control the vehicle interior component;
and
a door sensor configured to detect opening and closing of at least one door;
wherein the controller is configured to:
switch the vehicle interior component from the boarding/alighting-state to the standby-state in response to detection of a door-closed event when the vehicle interior component is in the boarding/alighting-state;
and
switch the vehicle interior component from the standby-state to the boarding/alighting-state in response to detection of a door-open event when the vehicle interior component is in the standby-state.
