Abstract
A hybrid electric vehicle includes an engine compartment at a front portion of the hybrid electric vehicle. In the hybrid electric vehicle, the engine compartment includes a drive device. A motor generator, a power control unit that controls power supplied to the motor generator, and a gear mechanism are integrated in the drive device. The engine compartment also includes an electrical device (auxiliary battery). The engine and the drive device are arranged side by side in a vehicle width direction. The electrical device is arranged above the drive device.

A vehicle comprising an engine compartment at a front portion of the vehicle, wherein
- the engine compartment includes:
- a drive device, wherein a motor generator, a power control unit that controls power supplied to the motor generator, and a gear mechanism are integrated in the drive device;
- and
- an electrical device,
- the drive device and an engine are arranged side by side in a vehicle width direction, and
- the electrical device is disposed above the drive device.
