Abstract
One aspect of the present disclosure relates to a clamping device. The clamping device includes: a first component provided with a first jaw; and a second component provided with a second jaw. The first component and the second component are configured to move toward or away from each other in a first direction, so as to change a distance between the first jaw and the second jaw to achieve clamping. One of the first jaw and the second jaw includes two jaws that are spaced apart from each other in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, and the other of the first jaw and the second jaw is arranged, in the second direction, between the two jaws. Another aspect of the present disclosure further relates to a pickup truck tonneau cover assembly.
Claims20
A clamping device, comprising:
- a first component provided with a first jaw;
- and a second component provided with a second jaw,
- wherein the first component and the second component are configured to move toward or away from each other in a first direction to change a distance between the first jaw and the second jaw to achieve clamping;
- and
- wherein one of the first jaw and the second jaw comprises two jaws spaced apart from each other in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, and the other of the first jaw and the second jaw is arranged, in the second direction, between the two jaws.
A pickup truck tonneau cover assembly, comprising a tonneau cover and a clamping device for fixing the tonneau cover to a truck bed of a pickup truck,
- wherein the truck bed has two side frames respectively located on two sides of the truck bed, and the tonneau cover comprises two mounting frames respectively mounted on the two side frames, and each side frame has a second wall abutting against a first wall of a corresponding one of the two mounting frames;
- wherein the clamping device comprises a first component provided with a first jaw and a second component provided with a second jaw, the first component and the second component being configured to move toward or away from each other in a first direction to change a distance between the first jaw and the second jaw to achieve clamping;
- and
- one of the first jaw and the second jaw comprises two jaws spaced apart from each other in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, and the other of the first jaw and the second jaw is arranged, in the second direction, between the two jaws;
- and
- wherein the first wall and the second wall are clamped and fixed, in the first direction, between the first jaw and the second jaw of the clamping device.
